Why CancerCare?

CancerCare has a hand in almost everything and anything related to Cancer. CancerCare provides a wide variety of resources for Cancer Patients, Caregivers, and HealthCare Professionals. These resources include Counseling, Financial Assistance, Resource Navigation, Support groups and more.

 

These are all things I wish had been thought of and available 30 years ago when my Nanny was fighting her battle, and for all my family that have fought since. Another thing I love is that its not just about Research (which is obviously important) but is more big picture. They provide support for the caretakers that have given up their lives to help; HealthCare workers that chose an exhausting and draining field that needs staffing. These groups are suffering too.
